On behalf of the Cowden family and the CNY Alzheimer’s Association, we are pleased to announce the Sixth Annual Gerald F. Cowden Memorial Golf Tournament. Our tournament benefits the Alzheimer’s Association, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support to the patients and families affected by this terrible disease. The Alzheimer’s Association provides many greatly needed services such as seminars and support groups, caregiver respite services, day programs and counseling. The Alzheimer’s Association is also the largest private funder of Alzheimer’s research nationwide.
In 2008, with the help of scores of players and sponsors, we were able to raise more than $22,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association. We sincerely thank everyone who continues to make this event such a tremendous success.
Our goal for this year’s tournament is a $24,000 donation. We need your help! Please use the attached form to sign up for golf, participate as a sponsor and/or make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. Any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Come join us for what promises to be another great day of golf, food and fun and help us to fight one of the most devastating diseases of our time.
